Welcome to Autumn everyone …

After a busy Summer moving from NSW back to Melbourne you may have noticed I haven't been on the road much.
Packing and unpacking boxes takes time !

Our plans for being in Paris this year have moved back a-ways for the following reasons: As it is the 40th Anniversary of the inception of The Bootleg Family , we decided to get together again and try it out for size. Well – it fits ! The whole "Family" got together in Melbourne at Doug Brady's Studios in Abbotsford and spent some time jamming on the old songs and recording some of my new and untried titles. What fun we had. Really like an old glove - Well Coxy was wearing the gloves! And boy can he still play it hard. So we look forward to presenting a new Bootleg album sometime later this year. It will be accompanied by a live DVD. Some of you in Victoria may have caught a sneak-peak of us on the Channel 7 Good Friday Appeal.

My 'other' family and I are just back from time in Shanghai – NiHao ! What a crazy city that is ….everything is to be bargained for – even these menu delights (see pictures ).

After a restful 2 days at home I have headed to Nashville – I will be here for the next month writing songs with a bunch Of local greats . Songs both for myself and for other Artists – you will have to wait and 'hear' !

After America we are off to South Africa with some of Australia's greatest wine makers – Mark Maxwell and Geoff Hardy. Let's hope I can survive the amazing red wines of Stellenbosch through May !!
